With the digital revolution impacting all businesses, cybersecurity has become a primary goal to safeguard data from various online attacks or any unauthorized access. Small or large corporations, organizations and even governments are relying on computerized systems to manage their day-to-day activities. As technology continuously changes, cybersecurity trends also shift in parallel as news of data breaches, ransomware, and hacks become the norm.
On Wednesday, 22 March 2023, SEGi University’s Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology (FOEBEIT) organized an event called “Cybersecurity Awareness” to increase the level of cyber security awareness among students and elevate knowledge by inculcating positive online culture in the online community. The event took place in Auditorium A at SEGi University in Kota Damansara.
