Students from SEGi’s Creative and Multimedia Programme recently visited the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching as part of the Sarawak Design Week, which was organised by the Sarawak Design Centre.
The exhibition took place from 13 to 16 February, 2023, and featured designs by both local and international designers. The goal of the visit was to expose first-year students to the real world of design early on.
Malaysian and international designers such as Datuk Prof. Ian Davies @ Hj Iskandar Abdullah, Walter Tan Choo Yong, and Lee Suk Jong were among those featured in the exhibition. The students not only got to see the designs, but they also got to learn about the design industry from the designers.
