The online forum, a brainchild of SEGi’s DECE students and the DECE club, aimed at promoting vital partnerships between schools, families, and community members. With 63 online participants, including parents, DECE students, and community members, the event was a testament to SEGi’s ability to bring diverse stakeholders together for a common cause: enhancing child health education.
Supported by Kinder Joy preschool’s principal, Liew Poh Yoke, and esteemed professionals such as Dr. Amardeep Gmen from Klinik Mansa and Lilybeth F Perez, a retired nurse, the session delved into the intricacies of deciphering sickness symptoms and understanding first aid basics. Their valuable insights not only enriched the knowledge of the participants but also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility towards child safety and well-being.
