CONDITIONAL MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (CMCO) IN RED-ZONE AREAS
Following the spike in numbers of COVID-19 in the country, the Government has imposed the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on red-zone areas beginning 9 October 2020, mainly Sandakan, Papar, and Tuaran in Sabah and Klang in Selangor.
Although the parameters of the areas in Klang are still unknown and all SEGi University and Colleges premises in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Subang, Penang, and Sarawak were not affected by the movement, staff and students are reminded to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in place.
All operational and management staff will continue to perform their duties as per the normal working hours except for those who reside in Klang area are to work from home. Meanwhile, students are advised to attend online classes and to communicate with their respective faculties on all study-related inquiries and arrangements. Please avoid travelling or large gatherings during this period.
It is important to practice good hygiene by frequent washing of hands with soap and water, usage of hand sanitiser and face masks, and social distancing to break the COVID-19 chain.
We will continue to monitor and update on the progress of COVID-19 and adhere to the guidelines provided by the Malaysian government.
Your safety and health remain our priority. The management would like to urge everyone to stay safe and healthy.
