SEGi’s School of Business and Accounting recently organised a Financial Planning Day in collaboration with Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). This commendable initiative was led by Economic and Finance lecturer Mohd. Hairizal Harun and co-supported by Marketing Senior Lecturer S. Rishikumar. The event aimed to equip students with essential financial literacy skills and insights into personal finance management.
The event focused on three main objectives: enhancing students’ financial literacy, educating them about investment options and risk management, and teaching effective budgeting techniques. These goals align perfectly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
