A fire safety session took place at SEGi College Sarawak for the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (DIOSH) programme. Officers from Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Padungan led the session, part of the “Fire Prevention and Management Skills” course. 20 students attended, focusing on fire fighting equipment and effective fire management strategies.
Students were introduced to various types of fire extinguishers and their proper usage, gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of the firefighters. Crucial fire management techniques were demonstrated, providing students with the confidence to handle fire emergencies effectively. This practical approach reinforced classroom learning, ensuring that students could apply their knowledge in real-world situations.
