SEGi College Kota Damansara (SEGi) is making waves again as its Diploma in Culinary Arts students take centre stage in a remarkable culinary endeavour. Invited to participate in the prestigious Middle Zone Civic Carnival held in Kuala Selangor on February 24, 2024, the students showcased their culinary prowess by preparing an awe-inspiring 8-meter-long Yee Sang, intricately arranged in the form of dragons.
The Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, inaugurated this grand spectacle commemorating the Year of the Dragon for the Chinese New Year 2024 Celebration. Led by SEGi Culinary Lecturers Mohd Faizal bin Md Saleh and Siti Solihah Ishak, the students crafted three magnificent Yee Sang dragons, utilising over 50 kg of vegetables, including white radish, carrot, cucumber, and salad.
