SEGi College Penang is paving the way for holistic student development with its latest initiative focused on student well-being. Recognising the stressors of academic life, particularly during exam seasons, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SOHT) organised the SOHT Gather Together on 2 February 2024. This vibrant event aimed to cultivate community among students and faculty, fostering camaraderie and providing a much-needed break from academic rigours.
Led by Muhamad Irfan Bustaipo, the event showcased SEGi’s commitment to student welfare, offering a platform for students to unwind and connect with peers and lecturers. With engaging activities led by the HOST Club and insightful sessions on discipline, attire, and academics, students were empowered to build meaningful relationships and explore beyond the confines of their academic curriculum.
