Now that SPM or STPM results are finally out, it is decision time once again for school leavers to decide the next course of action. School leavers have to choose the path to enter degree studies. Based on the education pathway below, SPM leavers can choose the fastest track to a Bachelor’s Degree by enrolling in American Degree Program (ADP). Alternatively, they can also begin the educational journey by studying in Foundation or Diploma.

Business, Accounting & Management

According to JobStreet’s 2017 Salary Report, industries that offer the highest starting pay for fresh graduates are those in Sales and Marketing, as well as Accounting and Finance. The report stated sales and marketing graduates have a wide range of career paths in the following industries – corporate, engineering, tech and IT, financial services, marketing and business development, retail, telesales and telemarketing.

Meanwhile, accounting and finance graduates can seek employment in banking and finance, corporate finance and investment, general and cost accounting, as well as audit and taxation industries. Employers prefer graduates with a business, accounting or marketing degree for entry-level jobs.
