THE Faculty of Dentistry (FOD) at SEGi University conducted a half-day interactive and informative Continuing Dental Education Programme (CDEP) titled ‘3D Anatomic Instrumentation for Endodontics’ on Jan 19.
The programme was organised with the support from FKG Dentaire, Switzerland. The workshop included a lecture conducted by Conservative Dentistry/Endodontics Specialist Dr Neeraj Malhotra, followed by hands-on training on the XP Endoshaper system.
FKG Dentaire, Switzerland provided the endodontic motors for use by the participants. The programme was aimed at providing an opportunity to aspiring young dental practitioners, dental specialists and public sector dental officers to refine their skills in molar endodontics and to venture further into endodontic rotary systems.
At the end of the session, seven participants gained knowledge and a measure of skills on the XP Endoshaper rotary system.
FOD would like to extend their appreciation to Dean, Datuk Dr Khairiyah Abd Muttalib, for her support and to the organising committee comprising Dr Neeraj Malhotra and Dr Sylvia Western.
