A sharing session for educators of tomorrow

The Class of Social Emotional Learning, Character Education and Social Studies in Early Childhood at the Faculty of Education, together with Counseling Unit of Student Affairs Division at SEGi University organised a workshop “Talking to Aliens: An Interpersonal Communication”.

It was a sharing session by an experienced educator-cum-owner of Megah Yakin Life Centre, Caleb Ho.

Ho shared about his struggles and experiences as an educator, as well as the ups and downs of his life, as he tried to overcome the obstacles in his quest to become an English teacher.

During the session, participants also learned about interpersonal communication and other soft skills.

As the old saying goes, a good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning. Ho’s presence and sharing session was to encourage and inspire the young educators of tomorrow.
